Dr. Koby is a physicist focusing on computational approaches to modeling physical systems. His expertise involves reducing the research questions to a fundamental set of algorithms with efficient and accurate implementations.
As Chief Science Officer of Artisight, he uses these principles to guide the science and engineering teams toward building transformative products in the healthcare space.
Dr. Koby’s research spans many disciplines, including general relativity, high-energy physics, atmospheric dynamics, and human health.
His exciting and high-profile physics research endeavors include the Compact Muon Solenoid’s successful search for the Higgs boson and the quantification of expected gravitational wave detection rates at the Laser Interferometer Gravitational-Wave Observatory. Both topics were referenced in Nobel Prize awards in 2013 and 2015, respectively.
